Eagan, Minnesota, April 13, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — Inside Edge, a leading provider of commercial indoor services, is proud to announce the launch of its new employee benefit, Take 5 Movement for Better Mental Health and Wellness. The benefit will be piloted within the company and is expected to have a positive impact on employees’ mental health and wellbeing.
Inside Edge partnered with The Wilder Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving life in the community, to create The Take 5 initiative. The goal of the program is to provide employees with an additional 5 days of paid time off each year. Employees will be encouraged to take consecutive leave of absence and stop work to focus on their mental health. Additionally, they will have access to resources to help manage stress, anxiety and other mental health issues.
Take 5 benefits provide employees with a variety of resources, including access to health transformation counselors, stress reduction techniques and self-care practices. In addition, funds will be set aside for employees who choose to participate in the program through Lifestyle Accounts to reimburse their out-of-pocket health expenses, etc. The program also includes wellness programs, such as yoga classes and healthy eating tips, to promote overall health.

The pilot program, which will roll out to the company’s full-time employees this month, is expected to be a success and an ongoing benefit offered by the company.
