“My parents have always been a big inspiration to me. As African-Americans in the 1950s and 60s, they had a lot of challenges in getting higher education. But they persevered and got a Ph.D. in chemistry research. Alchemy is the root word for chemistry, which is why I incorporated it into my company name, adds Dr. Seibles. “Many of my traits and qualities come from my parents. These traits have helped me become a successful physician, and I believe they will also make me a successful business owner. “
Dr. Seibles is also excited to bring more jobs to the region. She expects the spa to employ about 30 people.
